Hip to Gable Rear Dormer Loft Conversion Hounslow, Basildene Road

Living in a semi detached property and wishing to increase the space available to Tarran a hip to gable loft conversion design was perfect for this property.

The roof was hipped to the side, as well as to the back and front. The roof was then stripped with the hipped section removed. The end wall was then built up to form a new vertical gable and a standard pitched roof. The work created a far greater area with full headroom.

Once the shell was completed the Simply Loft team then went to work on fully installing a new bathroom with a stunning high gloss finish. Mosaic tiles were fitted alongside a rain shower to complete this bathroom beautifully.

Storage was essentially the main focus of the project for Tarran. With the loft being once a place to keep many items the family still needed to house these items and called on our design team to help incorporate this into the design without compromising on style in any way.

Our team installed multiple fitted wardrobes and cupboards as well as under the eaves maximising storage capacity. With the Hip to gable design there was also enough room for a much needed study area to complete this contemporary multi functional room.
