A Bold Bathroom
The bathroom interior is stunning, with a bold leafy wallpaper on the main wall which compliments the dark green of the bathroom cabinets. These darker colours contrast against the lighter white walls and hardwood flooring, creating a very natural jungle-esque scene. The colour scheme is rounded off with the pastel pink tiling surrounding the bath and shower, with the shower being fitted without a basin to create the feel of a natural wet room. This design is very typical in tropical countries like Bali, where wet rooms are preferred over standard shower and bathrooms.
The towel rack hangs horizontally opposite the shower which is an interesting feature to draw your attention. The wooden bars tie in with the hardwood floors and wooden chair to lend towards this natural theme that is created throughout the room. Lots of bright light has been created with the two casement windows and droplights in the ceiling, making the space bright and energising.
A Space to Relax
In this conversion the main room is not a bedroom, instead being a meditative space with a brightly coloured blue sofa and Aztec blue rug. There is a corner for every mood, with space for an artist’s easel, a bookshelf, a meditation space and many houseplants. The two sash windows bring in the light, as well as the bifolding doors which open up onto a tranquil roof terrace.
The terrace has its own array of leafy green plants, continuing the natural theme of this loft conversion.
