Brief: To design and build a rear and l-shaped mansard loft conversion, to a mid-terraced, first floor flat, in a conservation area, creating two bedrooms and a bathroom for our client Gillian. At the same time an extensive renovation project to the rest of the flat was carried out, refurbishing bedrooms, living room and kitchen.
In 2017 Gillian approached Simply Loft to carry out an extensive renovation and loft conversion to her property in Ingelow Road, Battersea, South London. Being a land lady, Gillian’s objective was to extend a first floor flat with a loft conversion to increase rental value. Every available space was cleverly thought out and in the end a mansard loft conversion was chosen in addition to adding an extra conversion over the top of the l-section part of her home.
Mansard loft conversions are considered the most aesthetically pleasing when it comes to loft conversion types. The slight roof angle on the exterior is very visually pleasing and its easy to see why on Gillian’s property.

The final results are stunning, a clean modern finish to the entire flat and loft conversion with fresh carpets and a fresh lick of paint.
