Brief: Loft conversion Mortlake, 2 x Window Dormer loft conversion. Small area with bedroom, ensuite bathroom and dressing area. Recessed area under roofline for bed.
Timescale: 8 weeks
It’s incredible what can be accomplished with a bare minimum of space. All it takes is some elbow room in the apex of the roof and you could increase the number of bedrooms in your home and even include an en suite.
We’re experts in the use of space and designing bedrooms which have everything you need but don’t require a lot of space. Our project for James and Amy in South West London is the perfect example of this.
We installed a small bedroom and en suite bathroom with a recessed area under the roofline which accommodated a double bed. There was also space for a small dressing area, complete with dressing table.
Despite the small space of the bedroom area, a skylight succeeded in opening up the area and providing lots of natural light.
Bedroom and bathroom were installed, decorated and fully furnished within just 8 weeks.
