Brief: Loft conversion Richmond. Install and build a Mansard rear dormer loft conversion and clad in slate. This project created one additional bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. Due to the loft ridge not being high enough, the entire 1st floor ceiling was lowered, creating more head height in the loft. At the same time the entire house was also refurbished. This included installing a ground floor toilet, refurbishment of an existing bathroom, installation of a new staircase, installing recessed spot lights and decorating all rooms to a high specification. Simply Loft also built all the cupboards and wardrobes bespoke to the client’s own specifications.

In just 14 weeks, Simply Loft were able to build and install a complete Mansard rear dormer loft conversion with clad insulate and refurbish the entire of the house. But this wasn’t the only reason that the project was so special. In order to create a liveable space within the loft, the entire 1st floor ceiling was lowered to create more head space beneath a low loft ridge.

Even cupboards and wardrobes were built from scratch to fit the client’s exact specifications. Perhaps the highlight of the entire project, however, was the breathtaking new bedroom, complete with large new windows for maximum natural light.
