Brief: We were asked by our clients in Godley Road, Wandsworth to design and build a rear dormer loft conversion in order to create a new space for a master bedroom with ensuite.
Our clients approached us with a desire to expand their living space. They envisioned a generously sized loft conversion bedroom that would also accommodate a separate office space. After conducting a complimentary site survey at their residence in Wandsworth, our surveyors suggested the installation of a rear dormer loft conversion. This popular loft conversion style was chosen to fulfil their space requirements within their chosen budget.
As a design and build company, our team of architects developed architectural plans for the dormer loft space in order to fully utilise its potential. When you first walk into the loft space you enter the distinct office area, which is separated from the master bedroom with a partitioning wall and door. This large loft space has an inviting light and airy feel thanks to the clever use of Velux windows and a white and light grey colour palette. The result is a private space away from the hustle and bustle of a busy family home, perfect for a busy day in front of the computer.
As you can see in the photos, on the left of the office is the ensuite bathroom. This boasts a spectacular walk-in rain shower enclosed by clear glass screens, giving this stunning loft conversion bathroom a modern and luxurious feel. The clever choice of coordinating beige, white and silver fixtures, fittings and tiles creates a cohesive and refreshing ambience in this immaculately presented loft.
The distinctly separate loft bedroom is made bright and inviting through the use of Velux and standard windows positioned directly opposite each other. Featuring a double bed and stylish storage units, this bedroom is a private and inviting space for our clients to enjoy.
