Brief: To create a large side Dormer loft conversion, creating one double bedroom and one bathroom. At the same time sister company, Simply Extend, carried out a substantial ground floor kitchen extension.
The need for more space drove this build in Kingston-Upon-Thames, South West London. The Side Dormer encompasses a large spacious double bedroom with a skylight and side window. The second single bedroom is deceptively spacious and includes spotlights and large window. Both rooms open up on to the en-suite bathroom.
The connecting en-suite bathroom includes a walk-in shower, a mounted sink unit and toilet. The use of crisp white paint, wood and beige tiles gives the bathroom a clean and simple feel.
A staircase also needed to be built, and to maximize light a skylight was added to the landing.
The ground floor extension comprises of a utility room, complete with toilet, and a light and airy open plan kitchen that includes a table and lounge area. To bring in natural light two skylights were installed and a floor to ceiling bi-folding door brings the outdoors in.

Used Simply Loft May-Oct 15 to do a loft conversion, ground floor extension including knocking through. We were very happy with the workmen. They arrived when they said they would and worked relentlessly for the time that they were on site. The job was finished on time and the dashboard system meant that it was on budget with additions to the contract agreed and costed. The workmanship including the finish was good which was confirmed by our building surveyor. All the snagging has been dealt with satisfactorily.
