Brief: Loft Conversion Foxbourne Road, Balham. A rear dormer loft conversion created to a mid terraced property, generating a large extra bedroom and additional ensuite bathroom.
One of two loft conversions already completed on Foxbourne Road, Simply Loft were pleased to be instructed by Nicky to carry out her rear dormer loft conversion project for her. Nicky approached Simply Loft to not only carry out the construction element of her loft conversion, but also to initially draw up the plans and gain the necessary approvals from the council. Our architectural department visited Nicky’s home to measure up and design how the space would be most effectively used.
The area under the eaves or the sloping part of the loft conversion was neatly designed into a lovely dressing area with bespoke shelving to store clothes, shoes etc. The ensuite shower room was also located on the sloping roof side with a toilet sitting neatly under the velux skylight window. The bathroom was designed beautifully, with grey brick tiling and a stunning contemporary wash basin. The juliet balcony was installed along with a small dormer window next to which a dressing table was located, perfect for the light streaming in from the window.
