Acton Lane | Acton | West London Loft Conversion

I would without hesitation choose simply loft again for my next building project….who knows it might be the downstairs extension at this house in a few years time. Here is the full story. I found some nice looking lofts on Pinterest and almost all of the best looking ones were posted by simply loft. It was a no brainier to get a quote from them. in terms of quotes the price was good (wasn’t the cheapest but was far from the most expensive), so I chose them – after all the pictures looked amazing online. the moment I chose them the process got off to a flying start. I didn’t need to lift a finger to get going. The architect came around and we discussed the designs, amazingly the architect produced drawings only a day later. I wanted some some tweaks / changes, so we worked together to get a better layout. All the submissions to the council was taken care offer me. A the point of council approval, the construction team took over. The loft was converted at a mind boggling pace within a few weeks it was starting to really take shape. The most impressive part of this process was that the only variations I had to pay for we’re the ones I agreed and even actively asked for – this is unusual to me as building companies I have used in the past like to start at £ and by the time you finish , the costs are ££. This was not the case with simply loft they completely stuck to the budget. The finished build is of a high quality and all on site mistakes (it happens in construction) were swiftly corrected and we always found a fair compromise. Building work is always stressful to some extent after all your home is being altered. However with simply this was kept minimal as possible and it was really well managed. Things always progressed nicely and we’ve ended up with an excellent new space in the house. Finally back to cost… People warned me that with building companies the costs end up doubling by the end, with simply loft they didn’t – the only extras I had to pay for we’re the things I actually wanted, no unexpected costs.
