Shut the blinds
The more sunlight that comes into a room, the warmer that space will be. Unfortunately, for a loft conversion, there is always a high chance that the sun will be shining into the roof and warming it all up.
Whilst you want many windows to help keep the room ventilated and relaxed, these can come at a price. It is always a good idea to have high-quality, light-blocking blinds in place, as these can be pulled down and used to limit the amount of sunshine that comes in, keeping the air temperature inside much lower than the air temperature outside.
