A rear and l-shaped mansard loft conversion completed by Simply Loft to a client’s home in Battersea, South London. The property was a mid terraced house and the loft conversion created an extra bedroom, a bathroom and a useful play room.
This property in Hammersmith had a rear mansard loft conversion carried out on it by Simply Loft. The property was a flat in a conservation area, therefore requiring planning permission. At the same time, sister company Simply Extend refurbed and installed a brand new kitchen on the first floor of the property with a roof lantern over the dining area.
Christine and Joanne appointed Simply Loft to install and build a mansard rear dormer loft conversion cladded in slate. This project created one additional bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. Due to the loft ridge not being high enough, the entire 1st floor ceiling was lowered, creating more head height in the loft. At the same time the entire house was also refurbished by sister company Simply Extend.
